I have been drag racing since i was 17yo (1978), in an EH holden with the mandatory hot red motor with triple SU's, to be honest it was a slug in todays terms running a best of 15.5 sec and that was it i was hooked from there i raced every street car i owned till my HQ Monaro and 69 Camaro i raced in the mid 80's.

I then proceeded to build an all out race car, my delivery ute (HQ Holden) in 1988, by 1993 the car was completed thanks to help from many great friends, we debuted the car in Nov 93 at the "Wild Bunch" Event at A.I.R. the car had only been driven once, on the tuesday of that week, we came away runner up for the event running a best of 8.73 @ 154 mph over the next 5 years we raced and changed various combos and the car ran a best of 7.89 @ 171mph.

That car was then sold to make room for our current car,

This car has really got
my attention as its light, and very fast, the combination is, we gather, the quickest 23 deg headed SBC powered car on the planet and since 1998 we have raced the car all over Australia to a best of 6.03 @ 226.41 mph the whole time with our own engine combinations and tune up's.

With no local "A" grade race track here in Adelaide since 2000 we are forced to drive 1600Kms to Sydney, 2200Kms to Brisbane and around 3000Kms to Perth to run the car and test various parts and tune up's, We believe this has prolonged our attempt to run in the 5 second zone as that added cost to race means we cant race as often.... Hopefully this will change soon.
